i'm always on valencia but i never came to outset cause i was offput by the bright orange LOL but it was some of the better cafe experiences i've had in a while for sure!! we ordered the durian latte, black sesame mudslide, korean bagel, and ube croissant. the bagel and croissant were So good. the black sesame mudslide yummy and nutty/savory, but the durian latte was missing a little something imo. i wish i got it with coconut milk because the barista let us sample their coconut milk (after we ordered) and it was SO SO good. as someone who loves durian i thought the actual fruit was just okay-- felt like low-mid quality ish durian (nothing that wowed me) but i could see the vision . i'd def come back and get it w coconut milk or try something else! service was soo friendly too (this would've been 4.5 but rounded up because phenomenal service)

All drinks come in one size. At $6 a drink, the cup is small for what you get but the flavors are unique compared to other coffee shops and that is their selling point. It was busy even on a weekday in the early afternoon. Durian Latte 5/5 -Hey durian lovers, give this a try. fresh fruit at the bottom loosely chopped and it really works with the coffee. be prepared to do some chewing since it isn't mashed. it is both a drink and a snack. The sweetness comes from the durian and is perfect. Matcha Strawberry Yuja 4/5 Great combo of flavors and of course the strawberry preserve is sweet and syrupy. No option to adjust the sweetness on the kiosk. Passionfruit Cold Brew 0/5 This was so sour at reduced sweetness. I do not like sour coffee and thought this was disgusting. Even adding milk at home did not help. I tossed the whole thing out. Taro/Ube Box Cake from Hanabi 1/5 I saw these cakes on instagram often and I can tell you, it is definitely a rip off. It is the size of my palm at $9 per cake, the flavor and quality reminds me of the cakes that I normally skip at Chinese buffets. If you plan to buy multiple drinks like me, they do not have trays. One of those places where customer service is minimal from the kiosk to the customer needing to ask for every little thing. Their menu is extensive with interesting flavors so I definitely will be back.

Solid spot. A bit crowded on weekends. Staff was friendly and helpful and I got both my baked items and coffee very quickly. I'd love to go back and try some of their other specialty drinks. The baked items were alright (we came in later in the day so maybe they were a touch stale). We haven't been back since we first visited, but I'd definitely try them again if we're in the neighborhood.

Amazing coffee, some of the best and most creative drinks I've ever had. Not too crowded either. I think it's because their logo looks like Dunkin' Donuts and the orange they have in their shops interior looks like orangetheory fitness. If they contracted an interior designer they would be elite forsure
